Amish Grace - Premiers March 28th. on the Lifetime channel

Do you remember the tragedy at the Amish Community in Nickel Mines, Pennsylvania?  On October 2, 2006, Robert C. Roberts shot and killed 3 children in an Amish school house. A 4th and 5th child died later of their gunshot wounds.
A sad, horrible tragedy.

On Sunday, March 28th Lifetime movie channel will be premiering a movie called Amish Grace.

From Lifetime channel:

The peaceful Amish community of Nickel Mines is forever changed when a gunman senselessly takes the lives of five girls in a schoolhouse shooting before taking his own life.

What transpires afterward takes the community by storm, as the media descend on the town and criticize its Amish leaders for their notion of unconditional forgiveness of the shooter and their outreach of support to his widow, Amy Roberts (Tammy Blanchard). Devastated by her daughter’s death, Ida Graber (Kimberly Williams-Paisley) finds herself struggling with her community’s belief in the transcending power of forgiveness. Deeply conflicted and unable to forgive the gunman and his family, Ida is tempted to leave the only life she’s ever known before re-embracing her faith.

I'm looking forward to watching this movie. I'm an Amish nut, I guess you can say. Always reading books about their lifestyle, it's so fascinating to me!

Also, speaking of Amish, Cindy Woodsmall's newest book will be released September 7th. Called The Bridge of Peace: A Novel (An Ada's House Novel) , Beverly Lewis newest, coming out April 6th called The Telling (Seasons of Grace, Book 3), Beth Wisemans newest Plain Paradise (A Daughters of the Promise Novel) and Wanda E. Brunstetters A Cousin's Challenge (Indiana Cousins, Book 3).

Just to name a few. Any good ones I missed?

Oh, I saw previews about this! I watch a lot of Lifetime movies.

I'm sure you must have read the book and seen the movie based on Jodi Picoult's Plain Truth.
