Its Friday and hosted by Crazy For Books is the Book Blogger Hop! I love visiting other blogs and leaving comments and this meme is right up my alley.
In the spirit of the Twitter Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and share our love of the written word! This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books! It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs to read! So, grab the logo, post about the Hop on your blog, and start HOPPING through the list of blogs that are posted in the Linky list below!!
The Hop lasts Friday-Monday every week, so if you don't have time to Hop today, come back later and join the fun! This is a weekly event! And stop back throughout the weekend to see all the new blogs that are added! We get over 200 links every week!!
Your blog should have content related to books, including, but not limited to book reviews.

RULES:
1. Enter your book blog link in the Linky List below
NOTE: You no longer have to enter the length of time you've been blogging, but do let us know if this is your first time hopping with us!
2. Post about the Hop on your blog. Spread the word about the book party! The more the merrier! In your blog post, answer the following question (new question each week!). I have to thank my friend, Lori, for this week's question! I was drawing a blank and she came up with this fab question! If you have a question that could be used in a future Hop, leave it in the comments! Thanks!
In your link, please state the main genre that you review: eclectic, contemp. fiction, ya, paranormal, mystery, non-fiction, etc. Please do not list every genre you review - if you are review a variety, please put eclectic! The Hop gets jumbled up if the title is too long, so please limit to one genre. I will be limiting the number of characters in the title to ensure the Hop doesn't look messy! Thank you!
Example: Crazy-for-Books (literary fiction)NOTE: You no longer have to enter the length of time you've been blogging, but do let us know if this is your first time hopping with us!

This week's question comes from Chelle! Sorry, but I don't have you blog name to link to! Leave your link in the comments and I'll definitely add it in!
Do you listen to music when you read? If so, what are your favorite reading tunes?
2. Visit other blogs in the Linky List! Make new friends! Follow new book bloggers! Talk about books! Rave about authors! Take the time to make a quality visit! Check out other posts and content, make a new friend! Don't randomly follow someone if you never intend on actually following them! No spamming please! (Please do not leave your link and not visit other blogs - it's just not cool and not in the spirit of the Hop!)
So, have fun HOPPING and enjoy your BOOK PARTY weekend!!!
My weekly question response:
Do you listen to music when you read? If so, what are your favorite reading tunes?
No I usually don't listen to music when I read. I usually have television going but I'm not really paying attention to it. I try to tune everything out when I read and focus on the story.

Just popping in via the hop to say hi! I can't listen to music either, but the tv doesn't seem to bother me. Glad to have found your blog through the hop, I'm a new follower!
Hi, just hopping by. I do that, too, Natalie...TV on like background, usually muted.
My hop is over at http://curlupandread.wordpress.com/2010/08/06/book-blogger-hop-august-6/
also linked to my name.
Well my blog is not about books .... well some posts are.... but I do enjoy reading several book review blogs. Happy Hopping
Hello!
I'm just stopping by from "The Hop" - I see you live in Washington & I'm so envious! I've been wanting to move to the Pacific Northwest (Portland or Seattle, more specifically) for a long time - but it's been hard luck at finding a job. Happy to find a book blogger in my favorite part of the country!
Happy Reading & Happy Hopping!
Thanks for hopping by Rose City Reader!
I can't read with the tv on. That would be impossible. And I can't listen to music if is has words. I used to be better about being able to read with the tv on or music with words, but not since I started listening to audiobooks.
I have to have total silence! I hope you have a great weekend.
Just hopping by to say hello. Like your blog. Have a happy weekend.
Hi Natalie! It's good to stop by again, I haven't seen you in a while!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and your kind comments.
I'd love to follow you, too but didn't see the "widget"... did I miss it?
Have a great weekend.
Hi, I hopped over! Your new design looks great. I changed mine a bit as well! :)
Hey stopping by to say hi in the spirit of the hop!

I'm following now!
Hello, I stopped by on the hop--I like your new design. I just became your newest follower!
Hello. Just hopping around. I agree on the music issue.. it's just too distracting.
Happy Friday. Come see how I listen to music when I read.
That seems to be the consensus among the bloggers I've hopped to. The ones I listen to music are rare it seems. :-)
I like it quiet when I read, but if I'm really engrossed in a book it doesn't matter - I can block everything out.
Thank you for stopping by :)
it seems that the likes of me is quite rare ;)
Hello! Came here via Book Blogger Hop!
I like it quiet when I'm reading, especially when I'm starting a new book.
