It's Monday, What Are You Reading? Monday Mailbox - The Monday Meme's

Monday, Monday.  Its foggy out with wet, slushy snow on the ground. A great scene for a scary movie.
Saturday , we had some family over for dinner and after we decorated our tree. The snow was falling and I put some Christmas music on and it was a  wonderful, memorable evening.
Sunday was a lazy day. Sometimes its so nice to do absolutely nothing! To be lazy and read my book, eating snacks and watch a movie. Although the movie wasn't that great.
Nick of TimeI love Johnny Depp and watched Nick of Time.  It started out good, but I got bored after awhile although I did watch it until almost to the end.

So that brings me to It's Monday , What Are You Reading?

Well I finished AWOL on the Appalachian . If your into hiking,  this would be an awesome book to read. He details his hike from hiking boots, to backpacks to maps.

I'm also just about done with Cry Ohana. Reading it makes me wish soooo much I could go to Hawaii!! Beautiful descriptions of Hawaii's landscape, history, traditions.

Currently Reading : The Summer Son - I loved Mr. Lancasters first book 600 Hours of Edward and after reading a couple of pages of The Summer Son, of course I'm having a hard time putting it down!

So after that, I will start on A Cup of Friendship by Deborah Rodriguez and Boston Terans Gardens of Grief.

It's Monday, What Are You Reading is hosted by Sheila over at One Person Journey Through A World of Books .
This is what she says about it:

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week.  It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.
I love being a part of this and I hope you do too!  As part of this weekly meme I love to encourage you all to go and visit the others participating in this meme.  I offer a weekly contest for those who visit 10 or more of the Monday Meme participants and leave a comment.  You receive one entry for every 10 comments, just come back here and tell me how many in the comment area.

Mailbox Monday was originally hosted by The Printed Page and this month is hosted by Let Them Read Books

My mailbox included: A Cup Of Friendship by Deborah Rodriguez  A Cup of Friendship: A Novel

The Year of The Flood  by Margaret Atwood  The Year of the Flood

Mailbox Monday is a gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week and explore great book blogs. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

PS... Don't forget to purchase Craig Lancasters short story Comfort and Joy. Proceeds are going to a great cause, Feeding America!

I received for review The Job by Craig Davis from the author.

Joe B. enjoys the sweet life as a vice president at a huge conglomerate, Universal Whirligig. But along with the Big Boss' favor, he has also gained the notice of a bitter human resources manager, Luci Fernandez. Hateful of any success but her own, Luci manages to get him demoted to the mail room! A rollicking comedy of errors follows as Joe B. tries to figure out what's happened to him, and attempts to get a meeting with the Big Boss. Joe B.'s great expectations have taken a dickens of a twist. His family is forced to make a series of hard adjustments, and he gets only lame comforts from a string of the worst friends anyone could have. Will he finally track down the cause of his frustrations? Or will he only learn a lesson about what it is to be the boss, and that what is apparent is often only a shadow of a greater ongoing good? "The Job: Based on a True Story (I Mean, This is Bound to Have Happened Somewhere) is a modern parable of ancient troubles and truths.
