Teaser Tuesday! Cry Ohana by Rosemary & Larry Mild

Teaser Tuesday is hosted by Should Be Reading and this is what she has to say about it:

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This teaser comes from the book Cry Ohana by Rosemary & Larry Mild. I don't think I've read any books set in Hawaii and I am enjoying reading this so much!

Its an intriguing adventure, murder mystery and this teaser comes from page 28 -

"The boy watched the dark figure return to put away the pick and shovel. Kekoa tried again to hold his breath and conceal his presence. He closed his eyes tight as if that would make all the horror go away."

Yes, because closing your eyes causes you to go invisiable...I hope that you are enjoying your book. Check out My Teaser for Tuesday.

I only read one book about Hawaii, a funny kid's book by Dan Greenburg that is part of the Zak Files: "The Volcano Goddess Will See You Now."
