Throw Back Thursday

Throwback Thursday – this is a weekly event hosted byTake Me Away. It is the time each week to recognize those older books… an older book you’ve always wanted to read, or one that you have read and love; maybe one from your childhood; or review an older book -- how about even a classic! Leave a comment here and feel free to take an icon and use it on your blog!

Since I'm reading a Chinese story it reminds me of the Chinese books I adored and that was Amy Tans Books.   Her books include:
The Joy Luck Club (also made into a movie), The Kitchen God's Wife, The Bonesetters Daughter, Saving Fish From Drowning. These are just some of her books. She also write children books and has a tv series on the public broadcasting system called Sagwa the Cat.
So I'm always looking for Chinese authors and if you have any suggestions let me know.

Great throwback!

The only other author I've read is Lisa See. Can't think of any others!

The Joy Luck Club was great as both a book and a movie. That's the only Amy Tan book I've read.

I loved The Joy Luck Club; I have no idea why I never read another Amy Tan book. Except for classics authors, I'm terrible about sticking with an author.
