I finally finished Blood Harvest and went right into Pray For Silence
by Linda Castillo and as I was reading it went right into a gory, bloody crime scene and I just couldn't keep going. So I decided to switch to How To Be An American Housewife
and I'm so glad I did! "Japanese say "No" when they mean "Perhaps." Therefore, if you are talking in English to an American and you mean to say " Perhaps," you might accidently say "No." This is confusing to the American."
Shoko reminds me of my mom in some ways and her broken English is soooo my mom. I am loving this book!

This book sounds so great.. It reminds me of Amy Tan, there are usually some hilarious parts with a mom and english not being her first language.
