Teaser Tuesday!

Teaser Tuesday is hosted by Should Be Reading and this is what she has to say about it:

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

I finally finished Blood Harvest and went right into Pray For Silence by Linda Castillo and as I was reading it went right into a gory, bloody crime scene and I just couldn't keep going. So I decided to switch to How To Be An American Housewife and I'm so glad I did!

"Japanese say "No" when they mean "Perhaps." Therefore, if you are talking in English to an American and you mean to say " Perhaps," you might accidently say "No." This is confusing to the American."

Shoko reminds me of my mom in some ways and her broken English is soooo my mom.  I am loving this book!

This book sounds so great.. It reminds me of Amy Tan, there are usually some hilarious parts with a mom and english not being her first language.

I LOOOVE your new look on the blog!
